i find it so hard to play in ps3 version because of the joystick fucks everything up escpially when try to do the ultro combo with sagat cuz i keep doing the tiger knee when i suppose to do the ultro combo this by far is the hardest game ive ever played

best combo is turning the webcam on and flashing your penis (stunn your oponent) this gives you a 75% advantage for a few seconds (depending on your penis size)
The Timing from Tiger Genozide to Tiger Destruction is a little bit tricky and you can use it when your opponent is in the corner but its a Powerful 16 Hit Combo to Finish the Fight. ;)

Sagat is the best! he's my favorite character, but i did NOT choose him because hes the strongest. I chose him because I relate to him. He seeks revenge, but isn't evil...and after winning battles, he gives kind advice to the other characters. In the end video after defeating Seth he even talks about once being empty inside and all that deep stuff. Sagat has depth and makes me feel more involved in battle because hes the kind of person i would want to succeed in life X3

What he is talking about is just called a Focus Cancel.
Focus Attack Dash Cancel - FADC. You have to dash out of the focus to be able to do things like Tiger Uppercut, FADC, F+HK, Ultra, which is why he says Focus Attack Dash Cancel. You do the special. Hit and hold the FA buttons, dash, and let go of the buttons then input whatever you're doing next.
Focus Canceling is the same thing, just short hand.
At 1:55 he does a focus attack into a dash cancel. That would be a focus attack dash cancel.
At 3:39, he says a "Focus Attack Dash Cancel" when he does an Focus Cancel by tapping MP+MK together. There is no charge, there is no dash motion on the controlls.

Wow usually when I play Sagat players all I see is tiger fist and tiger uppercut spams like crazy these combos make me respect the character alot more I think I'll try playing with him for once....
BTW its funny when people say he "isnt very fast"...neither is half the cast in this game lol. ALL of his combos do "insane amounts of damage".....tough character to beat..

I just got this game today on PC. Its pretty good. Dont know why people are saying he's too imbalanced/powerful. He can get reduced in the hands of a bad player. One thing I wish to know is how EXACTLY you do the fake kick. They wouldnt have given him this move if it wasnt meant to be done easily. Dont tell me to spam kick when Im sure thats not how to do it. But the thing is about the damage, Sakura, Akuma, Dan, Cammy, they'll take great damage, like in this video, but on characters like Zangief, Sagat, Honda, not so much.
it means how much damage a move does to a certain character. If you do a move by sagat against Dan, it will take off a certain ammount of damage. If you do the same move against Sakura, it will do more damage to her.
sad fact is, one doesn't even need these combos to own.
if you can master ohow to use the focus attack with sagat, you'll completely own
I use to suck with sagat, but once I learned how to use the amazing focus attack I now main him. basically every time you land a FA, its a free opening into a super, ultra, upercut, or knee
that EX tiger uppercut to ultra combo is a lot harder to land than it looks here. I main sagat and I wouldn't recommend using it unless you are willing to waste an ultra at least 50% of the time. Its way easier to use a regular tiger upper cut, focus cancel, HK, and then ultra combo, if you are going to try something.
i noticed that ex uppercut into ultra a while back too.. =)
although you have to take into a account the players connection speed. cause ive done that move plenty of times but that small bit of lag has a good chance of you completely missing allowing you to be punished.

another thing to think about that they didnt show in this vid is....ex tiger shot in the middle of the map, focus cancel, dash in, ultra. its not easy but they dont have to be in the corner to get the ultra after ex tiger shot. oh and preferably the low version.

Every time I try to pull off the Tiger Upper cut focus dash cancel i always end up crossing up the opponent and can't get the round house off. Can anyone suggest anything that could have me stop crossing up with the dash? Thanks.
After the dash, wait a half a second before you do the round house, you don't do it right away, pretend you're drop kicking your opponent with your roundhouse kick, and wait until they are right above your leg on the way down. Otherwise you'll pass under them

Not only does he have the second highest HP in the game, but he has the third strongest ultra that can be CHAINED, AND he's the second strongest character in the game. He recovers from tiger knee and his fireball faster faster than ken and ryu, and his EX tiger uppercut out prioritizes any other shoryuken. Tell me that's not broken

No, see that's where you're wrong. FADC does not auto dash for you. You have to dash manually otherwise your char will just throw a focus attack.

yh on the second or third one don't rememer..... all you do is push the circle button and then you can push it into a cool scrt but consecutive combo and push r1 which turns into doing the tiger thing where you make them fly upwards lol i done it

Wow usually when I play Sagat players all I see is tiger fist and tiger uppercut spams like crazy these combos make me respect the character alot more I think I'll try playing with him for once....

BTW its funny when people say he "isnt very fast"...neither is half the cast in this game lol. ALL of his combos do "insane amounts of damage".....tough character to beat..

i had trouble with the fake kick, but then i got a SE stick, poped the turbo button on and held HK and he did the fake kick, so im presuming its just an insainly fast double HK imput

I just got this game today on PC. Its pretty good. Dont know why people are saying he's too imbalanced/powerful. He can get reduced in the hands of a bad player. One thing I wish to know is how EXACTLY you do the fake kick. They wouldnt have given him this move if it wasnt meant to be done easily. Dont tell me to spam kick when Im sure thats not how to do it. Correct way plz.

Sagat isn't overpowered because you can beat a bad player who is using him? How does that make any sense what so ever? It's like saying a gun isn't better than a knife because you can stab a baby holding a gun pretty easily.

there is nothing wrong with asking any questions, whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years on end. ask as many questions as you want and can, and learn as much as possible, that will help you out a lot, it helped me out, I'm still asking questions, and there are people out ther who will answer any question you have, and anyone who makes you feel "stupid" or whatever for asking it is an idiot themselves.

But the thing is about the damage, Sakura, Akuma, Dan, Cammy, they'll take great damage, like in this video, but on characters like Zangief, Sagat, Honda, not so much.

Sagat can do 650 damage in one ultra combo, easy. That's 65% of a character's lifebar versus a normal character. Most characters can't do that.
Dan has 1000 health, which is the average.

it means how much damage a move does to a certain character. If you do a move by sagat against Dan, it will take off a certain ammount of damage. If you do the same move against Sakura, it will do more damage to her.

sad fact is, one doesn't even need these combos to own.
if you can master ohow to use the focus attack with sagat, you'll completely own
I use to suck with sagat, but once I learned how to use the amazing focus attack I now main him. basically every time you land a FA, its a free opening into a super, ultra, upercut, or knee

that EX tiger uppercut to ultra combo is a lot harder to land than it looks here. I main sagat and I wouldn't recommend using it unless you are willing to waste an ultra at least 50% of the time. Its way easier to use a regular tiger upper cut, focus cancel, HK, and then ultra combo, if you are going to try something.

i noticed that ex uppercut into ultra a while back too.. =)
although you have to take into a account the players connection speed. cause ive done that move plenty of times but that small bit of lag has a good chance of you completely missing allowing you to be punished.

another thing to think about that they didnt show in this vid is....ex tiger shot in the middle of the map, focus cancel, dash in, ultra. its not easy but they dont have to be in the corner to get the ultra after ex tiger shot. oh and preferably the low version.

u see its not about strenght,weakness,fast,slow of the character,, its all about how much u willing to train and pratice with the character untill u good enough to whoop some ass...pick ur poison train n train untill u get use to it,,everything of the character will become handy

sagat is not cheap at all like someone said hes a bigger version of ryu and ken ofcourse hes gonna HIT HARDER DUH!! but is he as FAST as ryu ken akuma etc HELL NO HES NOT HES SLOW AND THAT WHY HE RELYS ON POWER AND HIS LONG LIMBS but its hard to pull off combos with sagat and hard to master him because hes slow and its hard to find openings on faster characters SO STOP COMPLAINING JUST BECUZ YOU GET UR ASS WHIPPED BY THE BEST STREET FIGHTER EVER SAGAT

Every time I try to pull off the Tiger Upper cut focus dash cancel i always end up crossing up the opponent and can't get the round house off. Can anyone suggest anything that could have me stop crossing up with the dash? Thanks.

After the dash, wait a half a second before you do the round house, you don't do it right away, pretend you're drop kicking your opponent with your roundhouse kick, and wait until they are right above your leg on the way down. Otherwise you'll pass under them

right, im guessing you're a sagat user. Learn to play the game. Don't tell me he's not overpowered. Not only does he have the second highest HP in the game, but he has the third strongest ultra that can be CHAINED, AND he's the second strongest character in the game. He recovers from tiger knee and his fireball faster faster than ken and ryu, and his EX tiger uppercut out prioritizes any other shoryuken. Tell me that's not broken
