  • WQ testing procedures are pretty much the same in Canada. After the lining and until WQ test results are known, customers can use water for sanitary use, showers, ... Test results were always negative and that since we started lining water mains in 2008. Most Water Utilities (and customers we have talked to) feel that the costs related to a bypass system often exceed the benefits. Residential customers usually agree to do without water from 8am to 6pm. We do supply bottled water during work.

  • Same day service is definitely an absolute sell. Please satisfy my curiosity. Not sure about the chlorination procedure up north but over here in Florida, to get a sample in for testing (bacteria etc) and back to us takes minimum 24hours (rush) and usually 2 days. How would normal service resume in the same day? I take water samples for a living. Love the idea of same day return though.

  • Good question! For a 300 feet long water main, we can clean, dry and apply several layers of polymeric resin in about ten hours. Same day return-to-service, temporary bypass system optional.

  • How many feet can you complete in one day?

  • Great video,I design, install and maintain irrigation systems for a living and watch vids like this all the time..........
