Birding with Binoculars

My Daddy loved the birds, and taught me this tip a looong time ago! He used to put bread crumbs on the outside sill of a raised window by the kitchen table, when it had snowed the night before. I would eat my hot oatmeal with a frosty breeze circling the room, getting cold toes, and watching birds come by for a snack. Ah, memories . . .
