i think martha is under rated she went through alot of things for the doctor and never complained shes 1 of my fave companians

She was incredibly resourceful and useful - and always asked the right questions and saw things in technical aspect beyond any other companion - and the romance for the doctor was the one question she didn't ask... I think that's why fans drifted away from her in the end and it's a shame.

series 5, 6 hasnt got music series 1-4 had. All i ever hear I am the doctor or any sort of variation on that, but nothing has really impressed me so far during moffats 2 seasons. But music like this i could relisten any day.

I think this music is very Martha ... Murray Gold is so good at that! All the themes on Doctor Who REALLY fit the characters and their stories as well.

When I listen to this I can just see Martha and the Doctor sitting down and taking a breather at the end of an episode, after a big adventure and they're just happy to be back safe, then they turn to each other and smile and the Doctor says "where to next?"

In the episode "The Shakespeare Code" there is a beautiful version of this played on what sounds like a lute.

Wish someone would put that version of it on here, it is spine-chilling....

Probably my favorite Dr. Who piece....It makes me so nostalgic , wishing that David Tennant and Martha Jones were still around. I loved series 3, and for some reason this song is really sad. It makes me feel a sense of loss.

@oldmoviemusic Same. Really wish they kept her as the companion for series 4. She wasn't all bitchy and carefree like Rose. She was a professional who could be relied on to say walk the Earth for a year and defeat the Master with nothing but a TARDIS Key, a broken Vortex Manipulator and the clothes on her back.
