i agree with some of you others. the whole,"to see what you lost" thing, i think lex is talkin bout himself. he really misses clark but is too prideful to admit it. i miss their friendship. clex scences are awesome! i think everything would be so different if clark told lex his secret at beginning. and lex wasnt a prick here. i mean clark DID barge in and embarrass him at that party then kidnap lana THEN try to kill him! cant blame the man!
It's probably the crazy Clex fangirl in me, but I can't help but think there's just something very ambiguous about Lex's statement. He wants Clark to see what he's lost. But is that about losing Lana, or... losing Lex? *grins*

I agree that Lex misses the friendship. The real issue between he & Clark is Clark not trusting him to share his secret with him-not Lana. Clark deeply hurt Lex & Lex wants to hurt Clark back. Right now, Lana is the weapon. Lex saying "when I thought you mattered" is BS. Clark still matters to Lex. Lex smells power & wants to possess it - if he had to choose between Clark & his Secret,& Lana, Lex would take Clark/Secret in a heartbeat.
