History channel made it clear there was to only be 111 Pope's. Benedict being the 111th Pope. The reason for 112 Mottos is because this pope change's his name. Europe will give him back his power lost in 1798. Since then the Pope has only had power in Rome, not outside of Rome. When Europe gives them back their power its will stung the world. Benedict will then change his name to reflect his new power status in the World.
