I live in the southeast, and people are hard on Catholics for no reason. At the chruch I used to go to, they tried to say different things about Catholics and make me hate them, but now I just think religion is absurd. I don't have a problem with religious people, but people who cause problems because of their religion should be forced into atheism.

The SDA are not classed as a Christian denomination but rather a cult.
The Calvinists agree that One is Saved by Grace through Faith, no contradictions there.
I know very little about the Lutherans, but if any are Saved ~ it is in the same way ~ Grace through faith ~ not all have the same setup in their assemblies, but that does not take away that they believe Salvation is by Grace, and is a present day possession.
Anyone in any of these people that is Saved is correct.

james 2 14-26 it talks about how faith without works is dead, you cannot have faith if you do not do works, as just believeing in christ is not enough to get into heaven, you cant believe in christ and live a life of sin and stil excpect christ to allow you into heaven

If I may continue: God will always honor our free will. If one day we say we accept God and wish to be saved, and then another day decide that we don't wish to follow God (i.e; commit sin!), then God will honor our free will to do so; Hence salvation is a life long process! We must throughout our entire lives work with the energies of God (Grace). Regarding works, read James "Faith without works is DEAD." The Apostle Paul was talking about the mosaic law not leading to salvation

Christ founded His church on Pentecost. The Catholic church schism was when Cardinal Humberto placed the papal bull on the altar of the Hogia Sophia in the year 1054. Everyone else: Salvation is like marriage. On your wedding day you are married yet it is still a long relationship. Salvation is a trusting relationship with God. What works or church or priest or mass do you see in this great teaching.
In fact can you tell me exactly what those verses mean

again i will answer you, thats not what works are, when we in the catholic faith speak about works we are not talking about quests a person has to go on, but works is an ongoing process through ones life in order to be justicied, living a godly life, whereas in protestanism a godly life is seen as a side effect of being saved.its not making sense to you because your learning what the catholic faith actually teaches and not what eric phelps tells you it teaches

Very funny, Salvation is instant to those who trust Christ, and eternal life is given the moment one trusts Christ.
Works played no part in ATTAINING IT -- Works play no part in keeping it.
God preserves those that are His, by Grace.
You are Saved by Grace ~~ Kept by Grace ~~ and you will be in heaven by Grace.
your works do not play a part in Salvation ~ the bible refutes this error
Eph 2:8-6 Titus 3:5-6,
Romans 4:5 etc etc etc.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Rom 5:1 & 9

To suggest that a Person Saved in the depts of Sin by Grace and given eternal life, can be lost again by some sin and lose his Eternal Life His Sonship with God etc.

the gospel is the written record of christs deads and teachings the gospels themselves do not save people as you think or else those christians of the first centuries would not be saved as there were no gospels to be read, it is faith in christ that saves a person, and that faith along with living as best one can a good life and doing repentance for sins that can save a person sitting down and saying oh i believe in christ thats all i need to do will not save anyone

Lastly I go to the lost sinner with the Gospel message if I have the True Gospel and they believe it and receive it and get Saved what does it matter what denomination I belong too as long as I believe the Biblical teaching of Salvation By Grace through Faith
Personally I am not concerned about if a Calvinist believes all 5 points and I dont, it does not inpact my relationship with God neither does it affect in any way that person telling a lost sinner the good news of the Gospel can you see it?

God adds to his True church, you dont get Saved when you join a church, you are added to the church when you get Saved.
So believing in the doctrine of Total depravity will not inpact your Personal relationship with God ~ do you not see my point?~ I think its crystal clear.

let me just examine this statement.
A church gets a platercast a figure of Mary, puts that figure in a prominet place in the church, now the priest comes in and blesses that figure, that figure is now garnished with lots of flowers, and have facilities to light many candles underneath it.
People come in and knee before this figure and say prayers as they GAZE towards it.
Is this Idolatry ## if its not what do you call it?

A Calvinist believes in total depravity Yes, BUT and here is where you are missing the boat ~ A Calvinist is still SAVED by Grace, so in effect that belief of total depravity does not affect his Relationship with God, in fact the Bible does not contradict total depravity.
You are ADDED to the True Church when you get Saved, if thereafter that ~~ you want to join a pentecostal church that believes in tongues, that is your decision, until you realise that the gift of tongues have ceased for today.

If one is Saved by Grace that is the Criteria, THEN ONE IS SAVED BY GRACE, without works of any kind, this is foreign to RCC.
we are all totally depraved, in order to be saved it is necessary for God to initiate salvation. He does this unconditionally
If God did not move in the act of Salvation ~ men would not bother to even seek God, or be convicted by their sinful condition

The denomination comes afterwards, I go to various ones I can fellowship with various denominations, WHY because these people are of like mind with me on one Matter SALVATION and how God Saves a SINNER that is the important point

These Saved believers, are ALL SAVED THE SAME WAY -- THEY ARE SAVED (if you know what that means)
Saved by Grace through Faith in Christ's Finished Work and added to His Body the Church, that might be an assembly of Plymouth Brethren, Baptist, Independant Baptist, whatever.
But anyone God adds to His TRUE Church is Saved to begin with -- so the major problem is solved straight away, by those people actually having a relationshipship with God.

Paul spoke about contentions within Christian assemblies, so it was common even in Pauls day.
1st Cor 1:11-18.
Paul continues expounding truth is this chapter and in verse 30 he says this But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption
He brings out what really matters their relationship with God and in verse 31 " That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord "

Let me put a few testers out for you to explain what I mean
First you have to ascertain how One is SAVED if you cannot determine that, it matters not if there are a Billion Catholics who believe something that a Pope has decreed to be truth.the majority can believe what he says, and it can still be untrue and error

One who is a Christian, is Saved, Born Again, Washed in the Blood, Justified, and added to Christs Church

whole thing boils down to not what denomination someone belongs to but what is their relationship with God and are they part of God's family but believing the Gospel, receiving the Pardon & becoming a New Creature 2nd Cor 5:17.
I am told that even some RCC are actually Saved and are true believers but for some reason chose to stay in this System God may eventually wean them out of it
The denominational question appears to be a smoke screen that really has no bearing on ones relationship with God

it does boil down to denoms if you have 17 different denominations teaching 17 different things, if you have them each interpreting the bible a different way.you say you interpret the bible on the authority of being a bible believer yet if person a reads it one way and person b reads it another way, and both claim to be right, then how can you take it seriously if everyones own reading is correct

ok i will just answer your last point you brought up, lets take the calvanists, lutherans and the sda, these three groups do not at all agree on salvation on grace or in what way christs salvation works, nor do they agree on church government as you said, they dont agree at all nor do they agree on basic bible teaching, so add any other denomination you like your yours and what makes yours more correct than their way of seeing things

A few misconceptions
The SDA are not classed as a Christian denomination but rather a cult.
The Calvinists agree that One is Saved by Grace through Faith, no contradictions there.
I know very little about the Lutherans, but if any are Saved ~ it is in the same way ~ Grace through faith ~ not all have the same setup in their assemblies, but that does not take away that they believe Salvation is by Grace, and is a present day possession.
Anyone in any of these people that is Saved is correct.

james 2 14-26 it talks about how faith without works is dead, you cannot have faith if you do not do works, as just believeing in christ is not enough to get into heaven, you cant believe in christ and live a life of sin and stil excpect christ to allow you into heaven
