Type in Turkish Kangal Dogs and you will see the biggest dogs... I do love Newfoundlands and Landseers, they are huge and beautiful, but my brother had a Great Dane taller than this dog, and I've personally seen Irish wolfhounds even taller!

It appears to me as though this dog is not a full breed Newfoundland. I'm no expert, but, I seem to see a cross here, with, humm...an Irish Wolfhound or a Great Dane. The tail is not typical of the Newfoundland and the hind quarters look wrong too. All the same he's an impressive dog.
