It's very irrespectful of the teacher and also very unproffesional and when the teacher said that he was trying to meet the students on their levelor whatever theres other ways other than bullying them. It was also an excuse, a very stupid excuse. This shows that he is immature and its very dissappointing that the princible didn't do anything.
He was my sixth grade social studies teacher last year, and I agree. I mean, I know it was a joke and all, but it was totally immature. He gives everyone nicknames an mine was "Snickers" because my last name is Heath (like the candy-bar) and there was a commercial where it said "Snickers satisfies" and goody for me, everyone would call me a whore and tell me to satisfy them. Yeah, thanks Mr. Roland.
to get along with others and when a teacher starts to bully a student, when its against the urles for students to be bullied its sending two mix single and messages, the thing that concerns me the most his how if not all parents most took the parents side. and wouldn't show on camera ( i wonder why)

You are right students lie, but aplenty this teacher does as well. In till i have prove i rather believe and so my kids i trust them first. I would and do believe the teacher needs to be taught a leasson and gone. how are kids suppose to learn and get contuine
i can believe that he is an all around decent guy to most of his students and probably very fun, but it only becomes an issue after it is obviously affecting the girl in a negative way and after her mother has complained to the school system. he stopped for a while and then started back up, disregarding the childs feelings and the mothers concern. my question is WHY?
It's difficult to know. I always try to look for follow up on several news stories, but it seems like most AP put it out there, let it sit and then completely drop it. I would like to know what is happening with the teacher after his blatant disregard for the welfare of the child and the concerns had with the mother. Thanks for commenting! some men will pick women or girls who they think are "good targets" to beat them down inside. most of the time they do this because it's all they can do to keep from doing to them what they really want to do. and that should scare the school officials and other parents in that community. but some of the parents are saying that they agree with his teaching methods. those stupid idiots have no idea what it is he's really trying to do to this girl psychologically
