the only real mini boss in the game is that invincible monster that attacks you at random points in the game. this is just a really strong enemy

just freeze them, and attack with the big plasma cutter, throw him mines and hes dead, it takes about 2-4 rouns to kill him, if u ran out of the freeze ray, press start and press this buttons:

The brutes are alot harder in Dead Space 2.By harder i mean faster and bigger and if they hit you they knock you down.Also later on around the end of the game you have to face a Black Elite Brute with more protection in a really small room.These guys are bad ass and they have an ability to shoot stuff at you when they lose an arm.

Thats not a badass guy. Thats an ordinary ennemy.... I have this game and you just need to run a little bit. Shoot his yellow arms things to make take him down. When he is down, just shoot it in the back and he is dead.... So thats not a Badass ennemy, thats just an ennemy

the astroid simple, u have to shoot out the two rotating things, then jump on the astroid and run on it to outer space, there u will need stasus, use it on the rotating tings one at a time and shoot them out as well then re fill oxygen, and jump on astroid and plant the SOS

My way isnt a BADASS way, but its with Stasis, if you do it right, and you can do it without, if you go back to the staircase you came up, he will move to the elevator on the other side where he cant be hit. Walk out, and let him come to you, and run back when hes close, and when you go into the staircase, he turns and goes back, Stasis the mofo, and blast his back. It takes a while.

I played this game as weaponless as I could, I only got the flamer and plasma cutter, flamer only for the little spider things. But these brutes shoot pods? I never saw it do that. They really eat up ammo though, like, 20 rounds of the plasma cutter.

I highly disagree. The first time through is always rough, but once you've gone through, get a Contact Beam. Freeze him, then Bam Bam, done. It's literally 2 shots.

try this, freeze his, shot his leg until you amputated it, and when he's about to open his belly to shoot that round thing, freeze him, when the ball came out, use kinesis to captured it and throw it to the brute head, do this fro 3 or 4 times and he'll loose the head

The game itself wasn't scary. The only time I got scared was when I ran out of ammo on Impossible mode. You try beating up things without guns! The atmosphere was also worse than the jumps scares though.

Seems to run perfectly on your PC ... The mouse movements etc arnt slow? They were for me ... REALLY slow :( Disabled Vsync but it's still unplayable, and my PC is really good.

My computer is very odd compared to some people's though. I can do things that I shouldn't be able to do. Like run the game at max graphics with enough fps that nothing chunks ever. It's rather nice.

I don't know what you could do to fix your problems though. Not sure what exactly causes me to have decent abilities.

I fixed all these problems eventually. Was something wrong with the VSync. I downloaded the 3DOverrider ( RivaTuner ), and the problems where gone. Supposed to be a common problem for the PC version of the game.
