CNET has sold it's good name out for this thing called Blekko. Not only did it hijack all three of my browsers, but there is no uninstall, and it auto-directs you away pages that show you how to get rid of it. It is "biased" alright, biased towards Blekko. I sincerely hope Blekko is not going to be included with CNET downloads for long. I didn't really even see the screen asking my permission to do it, and I certainly would have never installed such a thing on purpose.
Not only does it "suck ass", but this scumware acts and installs itself just like Malware. If the stupid F****** thing is so good, then why to they have to ride in a install secretly , and maliciously stay behind. Guess Again Blekko...It's just another Malware Infection to this IT Pro. bye Blekko (scumware)
@kookieless ye, the current apple os is completely unrelated to the apple 2 though. anyway, blekko is quite nice, better than cuil was and duckduckgo is and even bing
Love it! Slashtags are brilliant. All that it is missing is context. I believe that multi-dimensional personas are needed in search. Built it for travel, but believe it is extendable to general search..
I love idea of competitive search eng offerings, not merely Google and Bing. Blekko has VERY good ideas, with unique or better functionality than anything else: their own query language 5:35 sort options 5:46 and slashtags. Social search too 16:25 !
But examples such as 2004 date range restricted search, blog search (Google offers both, tho not well for the latter), the non-existence of other search engines (others DO exist) should be rephrased.

Pretty cool... I just didn't like to see the signs of Apple favoritism. Two macs? Coincidence?
str8out 11 months ago
@str8out programmers tend to favour macs or at least linux machines.

Just got the invite and created the /green slashtag. This is invigorating!

will all the slashtags have to be translated and aliased for non English translations? Some collisions may occur.

Let's roll! Love Google, but probably only because I'm so familiar with it.
I started in '99 or so following WebMonkey and went from there. This is opening my eyes.
Thanks for the vid.

Thanks for coverage of Blekko, Mr. Scoble!
