There's only so many chords in the same key that sound good together. Nearly all songs could be said to be can't stand me now chords muddled up, 4 out of the 5 chords in it are the primary chords, the most common 4 chords used in all of music! Wasted little Djs happens to be the same key as can't stand me now so yes the chords are similar but there's a million songs you could say can't stand me now is very similar to.
