  • @cooldude1309: No much but again your mobile should be relatively fast I say about 1 Ghz at-least so that it can take full advantage of the peak 3G speeds which browsing the net or steaming videos on the mobile.

  • @dallastxRep214: The steps are the same but you need to change the APN value for your specific mobile provider..... the bsnlnet APN is for BSNL 3G a mobile provider here in India.

  • if it is a 3g connection it shud show 3g icon and not "h" or "e" or "g"..

  • @manujohnmathew: It depends upon your mobile phone model for example Nokia Mobiles show 3G or 3.5G many android set and high end Sony phones show as H that stands for HSPA connection which is actually technically more correct rather than showing 3G coz BSNL supports HSPA speeds, when you are on EDGE speeds it would show E

  • dude this is nt the settings for 3g.. its a normal edge connection u r gettng with this settings..

  • @manujohnmathew: It is for 3G just you need to setup the correct APN and set the network mode to WCDMA, I have set it up for several Android 3G phone using BSNL3G the APN I mentioned is specific to BSNL if using another provider ask them for the APN.
