Normally I'm annoyed by games that have music in the pause menu, because realistically I'd like it to be quiet when I pause. This game is an exception though, the music is kickass.

yes, the composers at RARE used to be the top people for VGM for a while. If you wanna know what classic RARE music at its best sounds like, play or listen to Donkey Kong Country 2

i agree 1,000,000,000 % with you. Grew up with these games started playing Donkey Kong Country in 1994 when I was 6. Truly amazing music in Donkey Kong Country series, 2nd one definitely the best. I've spent countless hours teaching myself some tunes on piano and guitar from it. Miss Rareware and their wonderful team :-(

Perfect required a expansion due to the limitations without it, for e.g perfect dark uses goldeneyes engine source but it's much more bigger, that's why a expansion is required, without it, only 35 % of the game is playable without a expansion

Perfect Dark no doubt beats Goldeneye, and also had a high rating, the futuristic weaponry, the battle sims, and the plot all connects and fits well in the PD World. Some comparisons with the arenas featured in Goldeneye and PD is the fact that you can fall off cliffs from Goldeneye, very poor and obsolete, PD Zero rates lower than the first. There should be a movie for Perfect Dark by Peter Jackson and the Wochowski's should work together to produce the movie.

I played Goldeneye the other day and it is still good, but Perfect Dark is a lot better. They had more freedom with it since it wasn't Bond, and the music. gadgets, weapons and co-op were all great pluses. I can't believe this pause menu's atmosphere it creates, compared to PDZ...
