The world economy has doubled since 73, the oil production from OPEC has stayed the same.. since 73. There is enough oil in the Bakken Oil Formation/Alaska to supply the US for decades. We import 4 billion barrels a year. The Bakken alone holds ATLEAST 40 billion to estimators believing that it could be around 400 billion barrels.
