errr... that isnt what happens.... it is called a FREE FALL DROP it doesnt go down on the tracks it just drops.... if u type 13 alton towers on google it is the first FREE FALL DROP in the world. oooo caps... i went on it today it was good.. but i like oblivion, air and nemesis better.... anywayz the vid is kinda good oooo.... im a human? hopefully what i typed make sense..... i dont make sense most of the time 0.0 pie?

Did you see that, RELEASED, something that this ride wasent when this person mmade the animation, also when I saw this I was also tricked into beliving it was the official, and by the words you used "would of probably made it more interesting rather than making it look like i was trying to actually re-create the drop accuratley."

Clearly you've been shown to be lying about the authenticity of this animation! The real thing drops a fraction, pauses, then the full drop. none of this tilting and rocking, and no dropping below the level of the exit track!

@jamiemckeen This video was linked from a ride forum and was meant as an april fool to trick the excited nation. Hence EAF media, (Early April Fool) If it wasnt for the ITV and GMTV videos, people would go on to believe this and be shocked when they ride it, which was the purpose, as i find it annoying that people want to spoil it for themselves.

@Patrickofcoventry The drop isnt interesting, I did a plausible idea based on the information and photos provided. I was trying the recreate the drop as realistically as possible. The video was intended for an audience of about 30 people, who believed the video to have been made by alton towers. So it was successful. Its hardly a farce to cop out of, it did what it was meant to do, I intended to delete it though, with revenue sharing enabled, whats the point? =]

For people who haven't seen a video of Thirteen on-ride, DON'T at any costs look at GMTV!!! They made the ride look really bad with their filming!

Instead go to Itv news and look for thirteen at alton towers. It was uploaded a couple of days ago, and it makes the ride look awesome!!

Believe me, it will look a lot better on Itv!

Just seen the GMTV broadcast...I guess the age restrictions they have been bangin on about is UNDER FIVES ONLY!.The single lap bar gives it away as a wuss ride.The vertical drop is a good idea..Shame it looks only about 10 feet and is guaranteed to keep breaking down.NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL...THE MUMMYS REVENGE IS A PROPER PSYCOASTER.
