@moush Sin & Punishment 2 should not fall under the "rail shooter" label. It's actually much more akin to 2D shmups or Contra. Which are awesome. So don't be hatin'.

One is the person on the screen, and the second shoots like a lightgun game.

If you only enjoy shooters, RPGs, and sports games, which are the main console sellers, then there probably are only about 3 games that appeal to you on the Wii. I personally value quality gameplay over graphics, which applies to many more games than 3.

why? on-rail produces the most action pack punch in the scenery. the ones that u can walk around freely rarely gives the same effect, unless it's a cut-scene, but then again cut-scenes are pretty much on-rail, but u cant do anything because it's a cut-scene XD

U just hate it because its not in first person u don't get to reload it doesn't have a generic alien story and it doesn't have online multiplayer. Just because its not an FPS doesn't mean its bad

it's not a long game sadly but it's worth it cause the ending is kick ass I beat it not to long ago and can't wait for this one to come out =D

it would take too much money to make this type of game a long game because, practically u only play everything ONCE, and all the stages are different, and it only makes sense to play them ONCE, so it would take a lot of time and money to create this type of game a long game because it would take forever to draw up an 10-20 hours worth of stages and enemies (even borderlands with over 15 million different guns, actual number btw, doesn't have enough man power to create a lot of stages/enemies)

ya... to bad I've only played it once dude if ur talking about the nmh think that was the games fault it said save clear data n I thought it ment it would show I cleared the game and can see the real ending and it made me start over and I hate holes in storys so I played it again to see the real ending so ya don't try making me feel bad just because I played a game twice

i mean, it's like playing heavy rain on the ps3, even tho replay value is very high, it will mess up the game's "initial impression" if u play it more than one. like some rare good games in the history of gaming, there are games that is best only played once. even tho if u play it many times it would still be OK. but i'm saying u paid 50 bucks for this thing u DESERVE to play it more than once. u know wat i mean? it's just not exciting 2nd time, where all the holy **** moments are gone.

ya I know I didn't WANT to play the game again and I know what ur talking about playing a game more then once leaves out all the fun suprises but with no more heros I had no choice it was either play it again to see the real ending and see it on my big screen or youtube the ending and see it on my small ass computer screen and wait for it to load like crazy and if it makes u feel any better that's the only game I have played twice and I now know what clear data means and will never do that again

Waitaminute: Japanese voices? That comes as a surprise to me considering the original. Oh well, I wouldn't mind if they put both in the English version, even though I know that they won't.

It's mostly a rail shooter, although you can manuver your way around obstacles and projectiles. Think Starfox or Space Harrier.

At this point, this game does not deserve to be a substitute to Star Fox. This is a game of it's own that's looking to be the true successor to the N64 classic. Star Fox has yet to give us a proper on-rails shooter experience since their success on the N64.
