Returning to Scotland for only the second time in 15 years in June. Can't wait !Listening to Karen's voice and looking at the pictures of the Highlands make me wonder why I ever left!
Catchy. I just listen and recite this to myself every morning, and I feel happy all throughout the day. Just like any time I hear Irish or Scottish music -- they both have the same effect. :D
@tadge72 Rann na Móna is a picturesque headland in the Rosses of Donegal, Ireland. The lyrics express love for the area. No need for the wedding-goers to fret.
Just wondering Where these pictures are alot of them look like Skye like that bit with the ferry next to the wee island looks alot like the ferry that goes across to Harris and Lewis via waternish from Trotternish
@KoreWanandeshita, Well I don't know about the islands, but I can see several photos of Oban, Glencoe, maybe Malaig and Loch Torridon and the Torridon mountains.
A lot of them are from Islay and Jura. There's Craighouse on Jura in the very first picture. Later on various of the Sound of Islay from Port Askaig looking to Jura, also Port Ellen and Portnahaven on Islay.
These people make me feel so proud to have predominantly Scottish ancestry.
