Aired during the Bills game that day, I remember how much sports brought the nation together after the attacks. When Osama was killed and the flags came out all over the baseball games, it reminded me so much of ten years ago. This commercial inspires you to be the change you want to see in the world.
This advert is so much more than whether you are an American or not. It is paying homage to the thousands of good people who where murdered that terrible day. Most were American but not all where; some where loyal conservatives others where equally as loyal liberals. This reminds America and the most of the civilized world that they were ALL important people who should not be forgotten. I don't even like "Bud" but it is a terrific commercial and I will happily give them credit for it.
I watched this as soon as I saw it on TV on 9/11. This only had 23 veiws. I come back about a week later and it has 20,126 veiws. Wow. I love this commercial!
The fact that they sell beer doesnt negate thier sentiment. To me, an Australian, the horses represent every wagon that ever crossed America and all of the people who live in the country , in the fields and valleys , by streams and in the hills, and in the towns and cities, who will come if you hurt America. Good on ya, Budweiser.
Im sure you people have enough self control that if you dont want to buy a beer-- YOU DONT HAVE TO. God damn, some of you make it sound like someone is using this commercial like a gun pointed at your head forcing you to buy beer-- get a life!!! The first commerical that ran in 2001 shows the skyline with the TOwers gone. The re-edited version shows the Freedom tower. Budweier made this work of art and have every right to put their name to it-- just like any artist signs his paintings
so they CGIed in the same Clydesdales on the new back drop of New York. If you notice when one lifts his hoof - they didn't bother to remove the snow. The new Budweiser owned be foreign companies is just trying to make money now.
I think Budweiser did a great job here. Thank you to the companies who are able to produce something nice to help remember the day and those who lost their lives. This is a classy thing to do.
By the way...it ran one time on 9/11/11 only because it was not for profit!!! That is actually what they posted. If they really wanted a profit from it, they would have aired it many many times.
You people are a bunch of non-American assholes, this was absolutely great! It's called a tribute, and a thought from a company that doesn't need your dollar, I'm sure they can make it with out yours. Thank you Budwieser for remembering for some of our not so thankful citizens and companies!
Budweiser is a business, clearly they're always going to have the mind set of making a profit. But this commercial shows that they (although believed by some to "blind us") are recognizing this day in history. As well as showing their respect to America.
This is a beer commercial. It's entire reason for existing is to get you to buy beer. It has nothing to do with 9/11. Judging by the comments it's obviously working exactly as intended, it brings up familiar images and makes you feel things so you associate the product with a good 9/11 tribute. So you feel good about the product. I can't believe you're all so blind to that. If they really wanted to make just a 9/11 tribute, they would have made just a 9/11 tribute.
I got Goose bumps. Perfect way to honor the American sacrifice. Clydsdales are magnificiant majestic beautiful animals. To everyone involved in this fantastic phenominal production- THANK YOU!
@AXISOFHENDRIX the only problem with the clydsdales is this is associated with budweiser which is the thing that bugs me otherwise yes this would be beautilful but the fact that its subconcieusly trying to sell beer at the same time is annoying
at least we know that Budweiser cares enough to air the original commercial once and then follow it up with another winning ad! RIP to all who perished on 9/11/01...

So true what you say, unfortunately some people are too naive to see the point to the commercial...no I call it a tribute.
