im a bit stuck with dr rex at the moment...i keep finding loops i like adding them to the track for say 8 bars then i would like the beat to change for the next 8 bars but when i choose a new loop from dr rex and add that to the track it just replaces my first loop ???? any ideas
Good vid. Im a complete Reason noob and only got it today. I cant seem to get any sound out of the Dr Rex player. When I go to the folder and click on a loop sample it plays ok, but when I go to preview it, there is no sound! The bars on the mixer are moving as if I should hear it, but I dont. I can add to track, but again I dont hear anything. Any ideas as to what Im doing wrong? Thanks

Hi thanks yes that works... But there is always a but with reasons and pro-tools i had to open a new file in reasons to get it to work the way you said. I have tried this on the reasons file that I was working on in the first place but it just won't work...... is there any reason for this. Every time i hit the to track button nothing happens. Now I had changed the loop a little using some reverb and delays and I have two other Dr-Rex loop players open and none of them will go to track.

you need to create a new rex and then cursor to the next 8 bars. then convert to track

tab it to go to back. see if your looper is connected directly to the mixer. also make sure it is not muted or soloed.

ok so all you need to do is play the rex loop and then hit the button for TO TRACK
