An anime is the result of lot's of arts. First of the art of writing, then the art of drawing and the art of voice acting and composing and in the end we have the art of telling a story through pictures. An AMV is the same, just that it specializes on one aspect of the whole story most of the time. Art is all around you, do not underestimate/-appreciate it.
