"Christ" means "Messiah" which means "Anointed" in hebrew or "Deliverer" in english. In the context of Jesus it's referring to deliverance from sin. There weren't last names back in that day of History - you were called a first name and then the place or family you were born into. Christ is a title. Jesus of Nazereth is (present tense since he's still alive) His name, hope this helps! :)
