You need to tell Stardock they have a problem. After running for a while, the dock begins to consume CPU cycles hitting around 25% consistently. This is the version being distributed now ver 2.00 If you quit the dock and restart it, it works fine until eventually it runs wild again. Nobody at Dell or Stardock seems to care.

Find the dell dock program on your computer and then add it to your startup program menu. This will then start the dock everytime you start your computer. If you don't know how to add to start menu - go to help for directions.

"Copy" is not the right word, "improve" and "evaluate" are better words. This is the world, people "improve" ideas all the time. You can't "copy" anything at all, it's illegal. "Improving" is legal.

Example, Blu-ray was released, it can not be "improved" for a certain amount of time. After the time is up, other people can "use" and "improve" that.

Apple invent good ideas, people want to "improve" them, if Apple don't want their products "improved", then they should be more affordable.

It's really more based on ObjectDock, as it doesn't function the way the Dock in Mac OS X does. This dock is just to organize icons, it's not a desktop metaphor as it is on Mac OS X.

Also, the Dock wasn't invented with Mac OS X, it actually goes back to the late 1980s.

I know companies such as McAffee and Norton pay you to include their software (and I know you want consumers to use your own) but if people don't want software, don't force it on them. Include the option to say, not have antivirus software when people buy the computer. I don't want Norton installed when I"ll just have to remove it anyways (which is a pain). You're mandatory software is degrading the end-user experience.

The whole non-installation of an antivirus argument you're pitching (by the way, it's been McAfee for a while) is nullified by the fact that online, it's already configurable.

Further, if it's so painful to blow Norton or McAfee out of a system (try using the removal tools that both offer, since they're a quick download away), try removing TrendMicro. *THAT* is a headache.
