curious how tight do u have the lugs tightened on the snare

Snares are very "wet". I would tighten them up a tad.

Your single stroke is very well done, for not being a drummer! And the snare sounds beautiful with the moongel. I would suggest (but it's m personal opinion) to put some more tension on the snares , they seem to rattle a bit.
