It does border on Homo-erotic but it's done geniously. I thinks it's trying to appeal to a more elaborate reaction from the viewer. The "Hoochie Mama" part is also very finely conceived by the writer/director and the actor plays it with outmost sophistication. Again, a perfect combination of great writing, acting, and timing. Now, if in fact "Hoochie Mama" comes from Seinfeld, they can't take all the credit since the concept had already been developed by someone else!
