Doubly good for me and putting the cherry on top of the ice cream that is Kristen, the lyrics for this song were written by my favorite poet, Ogden Nash.
OMG! SO sry-- I totally misunderstood what the comments were saying- You guys already knew it was Kristen- now I see what you mean- its the whole Glinda thing!!!! Just ignore me! lol
I don't know about the whole Helen Dallimore- sry don't know who that is but... I DO know :-) that this is Kristin Chenoweth singing during this video. I am listening to her sing it from the Cd right now in my iTunes and it is DEFINITELY her.
This song is really good! I hadnt heard it before thanks for posting it! but I'm pretty sure that the Glinda at 1:08 isn't Kristin actually I'm positive it's not... it's Helen Dallimore. But other than that good video, I like the variety of pics through Kristin's fabulous career!:)
aaah i love this song-Kristin is AMAZING!

I don't like her. I rather Teresa Stratas or Anne Sofie vom Otter versions. Sorry.

Hey, if you folks like this, why not check my vid of "Island in the West Indies" by Gershwin & Duke.
Same orchestra (Rob Fisher and the Coffee Club) and similar kind of record. Check it out!

I'm not a fan of her as an actress, but this song is magnificently performed and the orchestrations are fun, too. Is it from a CD?
