I notice that your wearing the Hylian Shield but you also only have 3 hearts and the broken giant's knife, am I allowed to wear the shield at this point in the Uber Challenge or were you just using the giant's knife to add to diffficulty on a non-uber challenge run?

IIRC, you can't have the shield at this point in the Uber Challenge. I used the Broken Giant's Knife to show that the trick could be done with it.

Yeah I decided to keep trying without the shield so i wouldn't screw up my attempt at the uber challenge and made it about 10 minutes after i commented

The only part I can't do is the side hop to the jump slash. Any tips or pointers I've tried this for about two hours.

If you have trouble facing the right direction before your hover runs out, try starting your first roll sooner.

How are you getting the camera to adjust so quickly? When I attempt this, my side-hop sends me further away from the cliff.

I hate the fact that all these tricks need such a high penalty for failing. It makes it that much harder to pull off when you know that if you fail, you have to walk all the way back up. I can pull off the hover-turn-sidestep off a regular box, but when there's a pit below, I fail miserably.

when you sidestepped off the box at the beginning, i noticed that when you sidehopped and jumpslashed, the jumpslash was in midair right after the sidehop. when i do this trick, i sidestep then sidejump, but i can't jumpslash until after i land on the ground. can you tell me exactly what to do here?

Make sure your sword is out before you start walking off the box.

You can get some Bombchus from the carpet salesman. Make sure to get the Hover Boots before leaving the Shadow Temple.
