  • if you ask me the best kind of perants are more like gonna be les or gay because they understand that being prejudiced is wrong. my mum is les and the only prejudiced agains prejudiced people coz they say things that i know hurts the resever

  • I'm not sure if I have to press like or dislike... The song is awesome, only it's fucked up that this can actually happen :S

  • Destiny, glad you liked it - those are good tears. If only more people were able to experience them... (btw, my middle name is Damian!)

  • This so powerful. Thank you for posting this sing. I cried and still am.

  • @KiraCat: Thank you for the information. I didn't know that also this song was based on a true story, but it doesn't surprise me, consedering that a lot of Fred Small's songs are socially/historically based.

  • Thank you for this lovely video and for including the song. It's important to share with people. I am thrilled.

  • The song is based on a true story; the "liberal governor" was Michael Dukakis. Saw Fred perform this song at a festival when my daughter was about 3 years old. I cried and held her by the end of the song, imagining the pain that the adoptive parents must have felt, and imagining what the children would feel like being treated this way.
