I loved the experiment! my friend and I have been diving for a year now and it has opened our eyes to the waste of our culture. If you just wait around and look around what you need will be provided for you without having to spend money and feed the system. Most things we find are perfectly fine they just sit on the shelf to long. Please keep posting. Blessings!

thank-you for this video! it is true that one man's trash/garbage is another man's treasure/gift...and more than that. What most people think of as "garbage" is really a natural resource of our culture. Thank you for resourcing in such a generous way.

OK guys,I am a 13 year dumpster diving veteran willing to take you fellas to dumpster diving school.

RULE#1 Check If it legal by calling you police department.

Rule#2 Only take meat and veggies if the temperature is right. NEVER TAKE MEAT AFTER IT SAT BAKING IN THE SUN!

Sometimes you can use cold weather to your advantage because it will keep food in the dumpster cold as though it will destroy most beverages which sucks.

RULE#3 Check online for possible recalls such as the Vitamins..

RULE#4 Look for NO TRESSPASSING SIGNS. Never sneak under a lock there fellas cuz that's considered B&E/THEFT any where's in AMERICA.

RULE#5 Pick up after yourself and never rip open a big. Untie the bag like a civilized person cuz if you tear the bag shit well pour everywhere when a garbage man picks it up leaving a big mess for the store. If you need tips I do have a channel dedicated to dumpster diving. However I hold all rights to every second of the video so no copying.

Man I totally believe in what you guys are saying I dumpster dive too , but what you should realize is that you if you are trying to reach out to people about waste , you can't look like weird freaks, people will blow you off and all you will have achieved is a negative effect. Please don't take this the wrong way I really mean this as constructively as possible.
