Wow. The cabin filter for my 2004 Accord was a breeze to replace. This one is rough, and up until seeing this, I planned to replace the one on my mom's 1999. I ordered ONE filter for it, and there are apparently two. How dumb.
Did this pretty easily. The piece underneath the stereo was impossible to remove. I was able to pull back the panel long enough to unscrew the screw holding the dash panel down. Glove box was also pretty tricky to remove. I found it easier to push up from the bottom of the glove box while also pulling on the glove box.
In case anyone is looking for this video to get help with replacing the cabin air filters in their Honda Accord, please note one thing: after removing the three screws that attach the glove box to the upper metal bar, be sure to check if there is a fourth screw in the center of the lower metal bar. If there is a screw there you will need to remove that as well before sliding the glove box out of the dash. I'm not sure what years have that fourth screw, it was there in my 2000 Accord coupe.

So glad I have a 2000 TL. Why they wouldn't make them the exact same I don't know...

Thanks a lot!!! This video was of great help. (Not sure why the heck they make it so hard on the accords to replace the cabin air filter though.)

@ahh99 - Yeah, this one is not for the faint of heart. It's one of the most complex cabin filter procedures there is.
