@Syridian Again if your gona whine you should have whined in 2001 when MGS2SOL changed music on the back of the cover it saids its mgs1 story but with a heel of alot of mgs2 in gameplay and music.
@Xxandrew01 Hardly whining. I didn't let the bad music stop me enjoying the game, but it could have been so much better with simple remastered versions of the old tracks. That's merely an observation.
Additionally, I liked a lot of Harry Gregson Williams' music in MGS2 (The Harrier, RAY Escapes, basically all the Tanker alert tracks) so ''complaining in 2001'' would have been rather silly. HGW did NOT compose for TTS either, so you rather stopped making sense there.
Man it felt great, when I was playing this game for the Big Boss rank, at the end of the game I heard this song, and I went to myself, "this is it, the golden ticket to finally earning the codename that I have longed awaited for my whole life, there's no turning back now." When the game ended and the rank poped up, I couldn't believe my own eyes, I was in tears of joy because I finally accompished something that I have wanted so bad. Now I have the right to be called, "Big Boss". Great journey.
a while ago I used to think The Twin Snakes was better than the original, but I saw a walkthrough of the original and it seems its probabily a bit better, but either way these 2 are awesome games
I think they're both awesome, i like the cutscenes in the original cause theres no bullshit, mostly realistic and cool. twin snakes :S too flashy and unrealistic. but still very cool.
The two have their ups and downs. twin snakes has ok music mgs1 has great music. tts has great graphics mgs1 has crappy graphics. mgs1 has the best is yet to come playing in the backround tts dosent. the elevator bit and the part where liquid gets inside rex where better. but the movies in mgs1 moved to quickly so that you could barley see what was going on but tts had the movies unrealisticly slow like the matrix. they are both good games that have an equal share of bad and good things!
I really enjoyed both games. I do believe that the original music was nostalgic and good, I think that the Twin Snakes had a much better soundtrack, especially this, Light VS Darkness, Tank Hangar Battle, Armory Battle, and Assasin VS Saladin. MetalSanke was kind of right, seeing as how the music got repetitive, but it was still good. Both games are terrific in my opinion, just like any other Metal Gear Solid game.
unitronus- what u mean its not action sounding it suits bullets flying everywhere with high tech genome soldiers chasing a biological son of a hero perfectly :D. but i know it dosent feel as alive as the other mgs music
Twin Snakes would have been so much better without the really, really bad redo's of the original music. If it ain't broke, etc.
Bad show Kojima. Bad show.

@chrisvalez It's slower, and doesn't even have a real beat. Sorry, but the original kicks this one's arse.

This is way better than the original in my opinion.

the original metal gear solid had much better music. bad voice acting, but over dramatic cutscenes. The only downside to the original was graphics.

So they decided to keep: The best is yet to come soundtrack, but not the Escape theme. Stupid

I kinda prefer the original one but I have to admit that this one is pretty epic due to the fact that it has some of the main theme in it.

The entire (most) of the Twin Snakes soundtrack sounds lame. Its neither competitive or action sounding.

It should've stayed in, but not be as repetitive as with the last game.

As if you were watching them making the music. Stop beeing such a mis-information giver!
filipeflower 3 years ago
O.o Yeah, I think they would need a bit more then just a keyboard, but really, you would really need to see how they made it to really understand.
