How the subways in New York City have changd since 1976. I remember the door chime but don't remember the intercom saying what the next stop is, or stay clear from the doors or the electrical signs inside the subways.

Why dont the US government do something about those estates?! (i mean projects, sorry im from london) its diabolical! now, i live dead centre of south london in an estate but hell no is it as bad as the bronx's where buildings look like they about to drop down any minute and every shop is tagged over and look like they went out of business 15 years ago. :O No wonder the crime rate is so high, the people have nothing to motivate them! Forgive me if im wrong but thats just how i see it :/

I'm from Los Angeles. I started my subway journey at the West Farms Square/East Tremont Avenue subway to the JFK Airport. I stopped in Chambers St. then hopped on the A train to JFK. That's across the street from Howard Johnson Express Inn on Boston Rd where I stayed in. I had my luggage and all. BX Baby!!!
