I like where you are grabbing the notes in the third fret instead of the notes or riff being played in the 8th fret. The way you are playing it seems more suitable to the way Andy Powell or Ted Turner from Wishbone ASh would. It has more bottom end and drive played around the third fret. Plus palm muting that A string in the third fret and playing the C note makes the song sound more percussive.

@ki0ny That's an old les paul "gold top" and I'm guessing that one is from the 50's. Those are extremely valuable nowadays if its in good condition. I could buy a car for the price of that here in finland =)
