  • I really understand that you are wanting to follow the bibles teaching and that is something good. But you need to see and understand the context.

If you want to have anwsers. Read the book "Why not Women" by Loren Cunningham and David Hamilton.

They do a really deep study of the culture and all the good and positive scriptures about women and also explains the more difficult scriptures.

    Gal 3:28

  • Hey I don't think that the things which you speak are considered minute by any means. John the Baptist said Bring forth fruit therefore worthy of repentance. Luke 3:8 It is Important these days.. The truth has been so leaven that we have to cut down the tares just to see a glimpse of truth. I preach on the types of issues myself and I love it. Because I love everything the word of God says We all know we cant live by Bread alone. God Bless.

  • this is an excellent series of videos you put together. I see that you tackle this difficult subject with love as the motivator. Thank you for the video.

  • @sokckyong

Thank SOOOO much for your kind words and understanding. May God continue to bless you with the humility you've already displayed. :)

  • It just bugs me how God would punish billions of women for one woman's mistake. I'll try my best to accept it, but it's just so hard to take, you know?

Then again, he punished both the man and the woman. It's just how he punished them that gets me. But who am I to question God, right?

Hopefully I'll learn to accept it. I'm not much of a public speaker anyway. :)

  • @crazydaisy08

Seriously! I TRULY appreciate your humility in all this! Thank you sincerely. God bless you.

  • @crazydaisy08

And you should be bugged how "god" punishes women for so called on womans mistake.

Perhaps understanding that it was mere men who wanted to punish and lower the class standard of women who are at fault. Not God.

Gen 1 tells us that God created man and woman in OUR image on the 6th day after ALL other creation was put in place, including animals and sea creatures. Yet, GEn 2 creates a fable of man being created BEFORE animals.

    Jesus says women are equal.

  • @coolwater55 becareful, you shouldn't pick and choose the parts of the Bible that you want to believe and dismiss the parts that you do not

  • @mistamoon1

Every single person picks and chooses. Otherwise we would still have people being stoned to death, hands cut off (in the bible)

You would NOT eat pork or shellfish, and you would wear a long robe and dreadlock dangly hair like the Orthodox Jewish Rabbis.

You would also have to choose between understandings and applications of scripture. Which EVERYONE does. Otherwise there would not be over 30,000 different Protestant denominations who follow the SAME bible.

  • @coolwater55 I am well aware of the ritual burdens that were given in the Old Covenant to God's chosen people the Jews. We also were given instruction in the Bible explaining that we are permitted to eat anything to the Glory of God according to the new covenant, Jesus debunks stoning in the new covenant,..I can give scriptural references on why those ordinances from the Old Covenant are no longer applied to the New Covenant Church, hence I am not picking and choosing.

  • @coolwater55 But can you give scriptural reference on why we shouldn't follow God's design for the New Covenant Church? The roles and duties that he has given to a man specifically? I agree that women are equal..however the roles are different. Preaching and Pastoring are wrongly seen as a position of power and authority not of service and sacrfice so women believe they are being denied a position of "Authority". Popular culture shouldn't dictate the practices of the church

  • @mistamoon1

I totally agree. Keep contending for the faith.

  • @segadavid1 Thank you Brother God bless!

  • Gen 1

The order of creation. Perfect order and everything EXISTS even animals, birds vegetation. Then on the 6th DAY (or TIME FRAME of creation) God creates male and female in "OUR IMAGE". Simultaneously.

Gen 2. Man is in a barren land? God creates vegetation, animals after MAN? HUGE contradiction to Gen 1.

God forms man and puts him in a barren land? no vegetation yet. Then he forms trees etc and then he forms animals and sealife? Then he forms a woman out of a mans rib?

  • Somehow the ORDER of creation is in chaos? Man is put on earth without any food or company?

Man has a rib from his body?

We all know WOM(B)AN creates MAN and forms him in her body and births him. We ALL know this truth and fact.

But the ancient MEN recreate a HUGE stork fable of all time to subjucate and make women inferior to them with this FABLE that is so off the wall it is crazy and we have to buy it for centuries and blame woman for everything?

  • Because during that time frame in HIStory - there were many tribes whereby women were honoured for their fertility and women were leaders or coleaders in their tribes or communities. Of course not the Israelites for they were patriarchal. But many outside tribes were equality peoples.

Now ANCIENT history. We follow JESUS and in doing so, not all we can rely on is in the bible, because Jesus lives outside the bible and all over the universe and heavens and in our hearts.

  • @coolwater55 No because ADAM is to blame. Adam did not protect his wife, instead he passed blame on her, and this was displeasing to the Lord.

  • @mistamoon1 Scripture tells us because Eve sinned FIRST not Adam.

  • @JohnathanHillable Yes scripture clearly states that Eve sinned First not Adam, However my point is who did God confront about the sin?(Genesis 3:8-13) Adam, because he is the Man and has headship over the woman

  • @coolwater55 Gen 1 was describes the world in its initial existence, Gen 2 describes in detail how it got to that point. Pretty simple

  • @mistamoon1

NO. Gen 1 has a perfect ORDER of creation.

Gen 2 MIXES up the ORDER drastically and it NO longer can happen.

Male and female were created LAST of all creation. Gen 2 has men being created 10's of 1000's of years, maybe more, than plants and animals. That is a HUGE problem.

    Adam "birthing" EVE? !!!!

Women BIRTH babies (male and female) Women are cocreators with God.

Gen 2 is NOT simple and Makes NO sense. It is CHAOS!

  • @coolwater55 -_- take care Godbless

  • @mistamoon1

You too. I think it is not that simple is all. But 1 John 4 sums it up.

    Blessings in Christ.

  • Ok so I am watching, but brother lets not get caught up simply in controversy. Oh my goodness. When we read we need to also study the original text because so much goes misinterpreted. Did you personally study each of these verses in the original text to understand the meaning of many of the words used? I am just saying to take a valid stand you really need to understant the text not just your interpretation. Check your Greek. I would like to know what denomination you are.

  • @UsedForHisGlory

This argumentation of yours sounds very typical of those who want nothing more than to belittle or condescend others all the time. You don't think I read the greek language at all? Did you not watch the videos at all? And also, please don't just tell me what I NEED to do, what YOU need to do is prove to me how my interpretation is wrong, if that's what you're purporting. Don't just tell me I'm wrong. Prove it in a scholarly fashion.

  • @vekl Oh, my goodness. My comment was not meant to be an attack, it was a suggestion because you are trying to be persuasive...right? There are many things to state about each of the things you bring up. Scholarly fashion? Condescending? I would love to have a conversation with you as Christians who really are at the heart of the matter and want to truly understand God's awesome word, but only if it can be that not an attack. I understand your stance I thought the same before my pastor explained

  • @UsedForHisGlory

Well, I apologize if it wasn't meant that way, but in my opinion, if you were not trying to make any type of attack, I think you should chose better wording, that's all. It sounded very condescending.

  • Comment removed

  • @vekl By the way I apologize if this message has come through more than once. I tried to reply but had a computer gliche so I wrote message again.

  • Women should just never be called pastors period. And a commissioning is the same as being ordained. Society has tempted the church to change and in some cases, society has won. It is sad what women's lib has done to church and the scriptures.

  • @wickedmonkey86 1 Cor 16:15-16 Romans; 16:7. Junia Acts 21:8,9 Acts 2:18 Luke 2:36 Acts 18:18-26, Acts 11:4 Romans 16:3-5 Priscilla Col. 4:15 Nympha&; Phil 4:2-3 Euodia and Syntche Romans 16:1-2 Phoebe Col. 4:15.Acts 16:14, 15 and

    40. Lydia

Col 4:15 "Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, AND

to Nympha and the CHURCH in her house."

    John 20:15-18

  • Speaking of Phoebe, there's this one lady on youtube, TicTocHeresies, who plays this manipulation game with the Greek by looking at the passage that refers to Phoebe as a servant, looks up the Greek word for servant, and shows how the Greek word for servant also means Pastor and, therefore, according to her logic, 'Phoebe was a pastor and so women "pastors" are okay'. If you arent sure of who I speak of, I refer to the woman on youtube who launched a divisive campaign against us Calvinists.

  • @Coyne1988

I know EXACTLY who that is. I'm becoming more convinced that she is a false prophet....'ess'. :)

  • many pastors out there including those so-called Bible thumping fundamentalist pastors take this position far too lightly. They often abuse this office which will get them no where in the end. Take a look at Tony Smith for example, I refuse to call this pulpit pimp a pastor! He's extremely abusive & murderous to his flock. He's clearly a false prophet because he teaches that law & grace are needed for salvation which is diametrically against scripture, he's not the only one. There are many.

  • I know I wrote a long commentary to your first video, but after listening to therest of this series, I have to say a word spoken well of. I have been struggling over this sensitive issue for quite some time, but I must agree with what God's word says on this matter. I wouldn't want to be a pastor anyway because it's gravely serious & requires so much sacrifice out of a person. I'm afraid that many pastors will be severely judged by God because they fail to properly represent that office. Too--

  • Well done! Good job! I totally agree with you.

  • where'd succourer come from? I found a different greek word that meant: "one who executes the commands of another, esp. of a master, a servant, attendant, minister

    the servant of a king

a deacon, one who, by virtue of the office assigned to him by the church, cares for the poor and has charge of and distributes the money collected for their use

a waiter, one who serves food and drink"

  • The word 'succourer' is used in the KJV. It does not give authority to women over men. Both the bible and dictionary have the word 'assisant' or 'assistance' in their definitions.

  • oh, mine says servant and its KJV...that's weird

  • are you sure it's the KJV and not the NKJV?

  • oh okay i got it, in 16:1 he calls her a servant but in 16:2 he calls her a succourer, yup its KJV.

  • Yes! This is right and fair. Thanks.

  • Amen to this whole series.

  • Praise Go, and thank you.

  • AWESOME - God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

  • Thank you for not being offended. Praise God.

  • The real gospel will offend people. There should NEVER be any compromises with the Word of God. There are too many who either pervert the Word or blatantly dismiss it. "Cursed be that love and unity which cannot be preserved except at the peril of the Word of God...my conscience is captive to the Word of God...for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise, God help me. Amen." - Martin Luther
