This woman was pure class. I am forever shocked to know that in my lifetime, and I am 37, that people of color were still being censored from certain films and were just beginning to vote and sit at the same tables and hotels, as white people were. I am forever shocked, and ashamed. I'm grateful that my folks, coming from Italy in the 30's, never brought me up to feel like this as they were treated so unfairly, too. The south has yet to make the strides they should, in time though, in time.
