Katherine was remarkable in this scene. Say what you want about her (and I myself haven't always liked what she's had to say about certain things), but her acting has been impressive throughout the series. Izzie annoys me about 90% of the time, but my heart really went out to her here. I can't imagine how the writers can keep her in the main cast, though, if she is not a doctor at the hospital, so I'm guessing that she will eventually get hired back, once Katherine returns from her hiatus.

I can understand why she wuld think that, she just find out from the Chief (wrongfully) her husband had betrayed her, she already lost her person, the person she would turn to when she has problem, she still has cancer and & now she's out of work, I understand her pain and lost. Where wuld Izzie go, she got no place to stay. I wished she had kept some of that 8 mil instead of used it to build the free clinic.
