One thing that I must add here is something he failed to talk about. At address you need to feel about 70% of your weight is on your left leg/foot. Now, as you swing back some of your weight may ease up a bit on the left side but as you swing back to the ball that feeling of pressure to the left side should be there...
May I add a comment to the shaft in the ground tip? It is key to keep the right knee bend pretty much unchanged when moving to the left side. If the right knee bend increases, you risk lowering your entire body (dipping down) and hitting heavy. This is my own swing fault and I only discovered it recently via video analysis.
