@lmfecher the structure was weak,yamaski never intended for a structure to withstand a bomb or a plane crash, it was intended for a structure to represent something, and yes i exaggerated on speed, the plane was going 470 to 560 miles an hour, dont forget the only structure that was "strongest" on the WTC was the elevator shaft witch was incinerated in the crash, and the building was almost hollow! a jet will pass straight through a building

WTC 1 & 2 were built to withstand multiple airliner hits. And the speeds you're quoting are impossible at that altitude. Show me ONE video, just one of UA 175 actually CRASHING into WTC 2. Show me deceleration, crumpling of the nosecone, fuselage, wing or tail section. Show me where those huge P/W engines SLAM into the side of the tower.
Hollow, aluminum airliners do not penetrate and fly through steel framed buildings. This defies Newtonian mechanics.

@lmfecher how would a building built and constructed in the 60s be built to withstand MULTIPLE plane crashes? that was completely un-heard of in that time!!! 2001 was one of the first tragic hijacked plane attacks in USA history! and an average plane can reach those speeds at ground level, if your saying a plane did not hit the building your also wrong, almost all the bodies of the plane that hit the 2nd tower where found, pieces of debris, and remains of the engine were also found...
