thanks for the video. if u decide to do another can u have the chief on the moutain top and send one unit to attack then send two history show that when zule would fight they send warriors to there deaths so the war chiefs can count the enemys guns the zule at the beginning of the fight they dont go full strenght right away they kinda test the waters u might say before they kill there enemys they send 100 then 200 and so on ..

Except the senate had no army when I first beat it. Lol. In fact they only had one unit of Urban cohort. Now when I replay the game, the Senate drains my treasury (probably because I strategically make them hate me so I can get outlawed earlier) and it interferes with my diplomacy. Dan you senate missions that penalizes me with money.

How is the Empire Total War campaign?

How can you let the first row shoot all at once, than let them kneel and let the 2 row shoot etc? I thought you only can let the first row shoot and than the second row RUNS forward and shotts and than the third row runs etc...

Personally I think they should make another Total war game set during the Victorian/Later half of the nineteenth century.

So many conflicts would be includded, The American Civil war, Opium war, Zulu Wars etc.

@SwordsmanMercenary Yeah, one campaign theater should be China. Like in the period of the Boxer Rebellion. As in there's a few European colony concessions, but you face regular riots & sometimes backed by Chinese military, etc. True that was 1900, but adding such a theater to Empire Total War(based on 1700-onwards) would have been good.

Seriously wish my pc could handle these graphic settings. I have to play this game on the lowest of low settings and it looks horrible. Bodies don't remain, units unexpected phase in and out, cannons magically shooting with no crew.

@ajmc1992 and then the a small amount of british units about 100 including wounded soldiers were able to to survive thousands of zulus and kill many of them while holding out and the best part is the guy in charge was only sent there to make a bridge and had no experience in commanding.

awesome, as soon as I have a desktop with the room to play my TW games again, I am using this mod. I am a historian and a former history teacher. Used some music and words from Zulu and Zulu Dawn- excellant job. BTW I am a huge fan of the Zulu nation, some of the bravest warriors ever.

Russo-Japanese war would be a good one for Total War I think. The Sea battles would be amazing and it could use the same engine as NapoleonTW but maybe all inf units would effectively operate like skirmishers. Could have some really fun maps too

@googleisshittoss Why not ? I think it would be fun. Imagine soldiers in trenches and all of that on total war field. You have regular guns and some sort of MGs in Empire and Napoleon. Tanks could be a problem but i think it's completely possible. I'm waiting for them to do that after they done with Shogun 2. They could start at least with WW1. Total War series is extremely flexible. I'm sure it can be done.

Even if some people did, the Germans would NOT have...ever heard of Blitzkrieg? The Germans practically revolutionized modern war. Why do you think it took an entire world to stop them? As for "waves" the only ones to really do that were the Russians due to their incredibly terrible leadership, and stone age military doctrine.

I actually hope this will be the next total war game with the industrialition and imperialism. You could play as the new Prussian Empire in Europe and build colonial Empires such as The Brittish and French Empires in Africa and Asia but you should also be able to play as African and Indian Factions such as The Sulus and Ethiopia.

Was a nice touch to the film. But they didnt actually sing it in the real battle. Although I think the most touching scene of the film is when the zulu's "salute fellow braves".

Haha, yeah. "Hook?...Yes sir, and me sir...Stay where you are Hook!". Michael Cain also puts in an amazing performance as Lt. Bromhead. By far my favorite.

I also enjoyed the famous "front rank fire, centre rank fire" scene. Such a good film. What did you think of Zulu Dawn?. I didnt think it was as good, but then again it was Isandlwana and thats a downer to start with...

@MrDeano324 I saw "Zulu Dawn" a long time ago. I'd have to see it again, I guess, but at the time I thought it was OK. Not as good as "Zulu," but in terms of their representation of Islandwanda it was pretty well done. I especially like the part where the Zulu chief tells his army they're going to war and the Zulus start chanting by the thousands: "Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!"

@googleisshittoss I am no expert but I would imagine that changing the way muskets are loaded would mean changing character animations as well as model, applying a mod animation is probably more problematic than models and sounds.
