Hey, pretty nice reel, You r kinda low poly architect guy am i right? What bothers me that there is no sound, it makes reel kinda....u know...silent....but still there is fine looking low poly stuff there, dont take it as offence or something but u should work a bit more with lithning the scene...
The best, neutral thing I can say is that if you plan on it, schools will expose you to only as much as you're willing to learn.
Loans? If you're still thinking about this, I hope you take into account your other expenses if you go that route. It's definitely gotten expensive since I went.
Quick question, if you rendered this in maya, how did you manage to do the wireframe renders? My thought would be that you used Maya Vector but that seems to triangulate all faces and you had quads visible, so, how? :P

@SebastianK94 try using toon rendering, mental ray contours there are other ways too look for tuts on the net
