I love how both characters see the same events in different ways, but when we see Sister Bertrille's recollection, it's pure comic gold- who knew Sister Bertrille was such a hot fox in her pre-nun days? And with wind-swept hair even!
That pool is in the lot in Burbank that has the Bewitched, partridge family, and Jeannie houses...the park is in the middle of the lot, containing the pool. They filmed all of these shows there.
@xenafan234 The Reverend Mother was a sort of kind in an uptight sort of way (it must have been all that starch in the convent's toilet paper), but I felt the same way when I was a kid... Why did sitcoms of the 1960s-earlier portray "high class" Americans as having vaguely British accents and "common" people as having vaguely Brooklyn accents...
Ha ha ha.. I can recall seeing this episode when I was small and wondering what nuns from an order where they wear such restrictive and "modest" clothing, plus such very large and cumbersome headgear, could possibly be doing sitting in bathing suits at a hotel's pool in public, like that, just because they were "on vacation"... I wasn't Catholic, either, adding to my confusion. If I asked my mom to explain she very probably just said that it was "just a t.v. show."
oh my god,I've never heard of this but its a much older version of "thats so raven" as both the plot is the same! the abilates they have cause them trouble and save them from it!
This is the only time that we see Sister Bertrille and Sister Jacqueline without their habits they wear and the first time we get to see their hair up close. Very pretty.
I would Sooo do the Flying nun.
