Apple Safari 4 Beta - Browser Review

I was uploading a big vid on chrome... It was uploading 2 hours... Then in crashed!!!! I was ANNGGRRRY! Safari is just FAST, NO CRASHES, EASY!

safari, is definitely better then Internet explorers and firefox and I can see that just from using it for 12 hours. it's crazy fast and the appearance Is awesome!

@davomrmac no problem mate, ive been using safari since my last comment... and it just gets better and better. the only problem is the top site feature doesnt always load the picture, the website still loads, but you need to read it to see what the website is (instead of just looking at the picture). Safari is a free download and install which takes up to 5mins. its definitely faster then Firefox and it has spell checking system :D its brilliant browser :D i reccomend it.

Safari is cool(I'm a Windows user so the speed maybe different when tis on a MAC)

But I feel Chrome is faster....

I think FireFox is one of the worst browsers out there.

go to adobe's site and go to the flash player page, when you click download, it will say Internet Explorer and another one called Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari. go for the 2nd one, that one should work, you may have to re-open the browser.

try playing a flash game on safari! Firefox beats the crap out of safari @ flash. Flash on safari is extremely crappy it even skips frames. Try it and you'll see

you can actually drag the tabs to different positions. they are on the right corners of the tab, and once you click that, you can drag and move the tabs.

You can also add most of these features on firefox which has been on firefox longer! You can also tweak FF to load faster on BB connections with a few simple code changes you can google and 3.5 will blow safari out of the water. chrome is faster than both anyways at the moment.

honestly i just downloaded it now and the whole top sites is kinda stupid and annoying. Ya cool it picks the sites you've been on the most. But why wouldn't it let you put your bookmarks up there? 10x easier and better, but no. Its too complicated.

I mainly just use it daily without any trouble. No need to defrag. Then once a year, or when a big OS upgrade comes out, I back up and archive lots of files and do a clean install.

Hey Dave, you can move the tabs around to your liking by clicking and dragging on the little triangle in the corner of the tab. Not sure if you knew that or not.

Yes, I knew that, but whenever I tried it, it was hit and miss. A re-install and now that works very well. Weird how the re-install did the trick. Thanks for the tip though.
