Half of Nintendo's series it holds onto with an iron grip, excluding a few series that have since slipped to Sony's side (Castlevania, Mega Man) and lost exclusive status. I...really can't give you an unbiased opinion, because the only one I have is XD. But from what I've seen and compared of the two, get XD, it seems to have better animation, attack graphics are improved, and overall seems to be the better game. But at the same time I want to try Colosseum because it seems to have a 'grittier' look about it, story and location wise.

I've played both games and I preferred Colloseum. Mostly because the main character Wes is so compelling, despite being silent. I was actually really dissapointed when Michael from XD ended up being the main character. Also, though the graphics in XD are better, I find the level design in Colloseum a lot more fun to look at.
