Hey Miss P, you so fly. Hope your cool, let me know if you can review my book 'An Inner City Guide to Surviving The Credit Crunch, with more than 100 tips for cost-effective living'. It great for college students with little money, I am from London England. x x x
Do you have to use the original box to send it back when you're done renting it? I still have the rental reciept but the box is kinda beaten up. Can i just use a different box?
I love your videos! :D but I have a question, do you know any legit sites to apply for scholarships? Or what did you do to get scholarships? Thanks :D
Reply iRockblackstar general education is classes that you take because you kinda need it and core classes are more focused on your major. If that made sense? Haah hope I helped
Hahaha! You are too funny! You are the best! You need to start your own Talk Show. Keep up the good work and I pray God will continue to touch and bless you!
Omg Im a jr n high school they showed your video during a assembly for college prep info today at my school and after that I just knew I had to came and subscribe and watch all the other videos!!!! your really fun 2 watch and also give very real information!

I started my first year in uni and I'm major in Genetics and I realy like it but the problem i get distracted at campous at home and I really wana sort it out please help, and by the way I'm british
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU! I'm starting college this fall and I know nothing about college because I am the first in my family to attend higher education! I am so glad I found you on youtube! I am going to stick alround and see more of your vid! I LOVE YOU ATTITUDE AND YOUR ADVICE IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED! Especially with picking out my schedule in college. My councelor wants me to take all core classes. But after this vid, I'm going reorganized my schedule to get a nice balance! THANK YOU =]
Miss P! I really learned alot but i have a question about the books...what if you are buying books with fanancial aid? how does that work with buying them oline???
also about the textbooks...if there's an e-book you can get, go 4 it! I saved a lot of money by just using the textbook online that came with the required online homework software.
I disagree with the "out of your range" statement. Some people believe that b/c they are not at the top of their class that the Ivy League institutions will not accept them and that is simply not the case. Like you said, you need to know what they are looking for but somethings it is a crap shoot. With Dean's Initiatives and fellowships for a broad range of applicants, it is possible for you to surprise yourself and get into the school of your dreams and they'll throw money at you in most cases.
she's not even saying that. She's basically saying YOU know if you have a chance or not. Don't apply to a school that requires a 4.8 if you have a 3.2 and your academics are all that you can provide to a school. If you think you might have a "decent" chance, that's a different story. But she's saying be realistic. She's not saying don't set reach schools. But don't set impossible reach schools that you REALLY know you'd never get into.
@callmeQ I can kind of understand where she was coming when she said that though. At the beginning of the school year, I was in process of applying for schools and I had to lay out my options and choose schools that were not only affordable but that my credentials matched up with. And I'm aware some schools will offer money but sometimes that still doesn't lower tuition to the price of a public university where one could receive the same education.
YESSS CHILE!!! I soooo remember Face. That's when Nick Jr. was the business. LOL! Sorry for the hypeness. Just re-living my childhood. Okay now, carry on. LMAO!!
yes!!! girl i agree with everything u said, i told u before on twitter @LuvMackenzie lol those 18 hours!!!! lawd!!! I can handle it!!! LOL it's hard though and I don't do 8 a.m's lol thats a no go for me!
This is my second year in college, I have 3 classes but there all big class, (calculus, Chem, and Bio) but best thing my days start at 10:30 I love my schedule
i rented my books from chegg too!! and planted some trees :) so much better than buying them and i never end up selling them to get money back... my business book alone was gonna cost $200!! but i rented it from chegg for 55! way better
I'm in my fourth year at Michigan State University, and I couldn't have said it better Miss P!!!!!......................I need to make a video about taking the next step....gearing up for grad school!!!..Howard University School of Medicine here I come!!!!!!!!!
It's funny how different the American system is from the UK system!
Our last two years in high school is when we do all the work! Flipping exams! lol! And the Uni structure is quite different as well like we don't take electives, subjects that aren't involved with our course. Like you can choose two modules outside your course for the first year but after that it's all about what ever your majoring in.
Great advice though MissP can't wait for the next installment! xx
yes, tp im and undergrad as well... i am truly a morning person, i simply cant do nite classes. i am an education major gettin my masters. the best part is that the school buys back my books. great vid gurl i cant wait till i graduate. good luck to u this semester.
