Did anyone ever get paid for appearing on that show? Apparently the production company went belly-up and there was a lawsuit seeking over $2 million in unpaid winnings -- don't know how successful that was.
I think some did but some didn't. I know when Catalena productions went belly up (pitfall) most contestants settled for lesser prizes, for isntance one accepted accomodations and a rental car in paris but didn't get airfare.
I remembered something like Lingo that had a bonus round with a yellow ball in it that aired a long time ago, but I didn't think it was an old version.
@TKnHappyNess The gold ball. That was on the 1987 version, and if it was drawn, the contestants' money was immediately doubled and they would get to guess their next word forthwith.
They actually did at the end of season 3, but that was in 2004, so there were only the best contestants from 2002-04, while 2005-07 had a whole bundle of great contestants too...
