Who is foolish enough to beleive this video. It is clear the man became a priest because he is gay. He couldn't explain why he couldn't have relations with a woman, so he hid by becoming a priest, later one he regretted doing so.1.) The bible says nothing about pastors being celibate. In fact it says exactly the opposite. "A bishop should be...the husband of one wife" 1 Timothy 3:2
Remember, plural marriage was still practiced in Paul's time. He's saying no more than 1 wife.

I HIGHLY doubt the Catholic Church forced him to be celibate... HE chose to become a priest. If you join the US Army, you are saying you are willing to go to war and risk your life. If you become a priest, you are saying that you are strong enough to keep a celibate life WHICH is only one aspect in your priesthood life out of the many others. Praying to Mary was a practice created to convert pagans so they still felt there was a mother goddess. I don't know if the Church has "imposed" celibacy on thousands of priests. The individual seminarian knowingly said yes to this practice before his ordination. There is always free will involved, which is written in a letter by the seminarian stating that he is under no pressure, and he seeks ordination (and what it entails) on his own accord and will.

Yes, aside from the bronze snake, God also commanded to make to statues of cherubim(ark of the covenant) but He did not say a statue of me and the cherubims are not worshipped. Neither does the Church teach that private devotion alone will save you (the Rosary, etc.). The Bible does venerate Mary when Gabriel appears and says Hail full of grace. Full of grace. Who is foolish enough to beleive this video. It is clear the man became a priest because he is gay. He couldn't explain why he couldn't have relations with a woman, so he hid by becoming a priest, later one he regretted doing so.1.) The man took vows, and knew what he was doing, leaving these vows for personal interests is dishonest. 2.) I HIGHLY doubt the Catholic Church forced him to be celibate... HE chose to become a priest. If you join the US Army, you are saying you are willing to go to war and risk your life. If you become a priest, you are saying that you are strong enough to keep a celibate life WHICH is only one aspect in your priesthood life out of the many others. He clearly wasn't strong enough and it was not his calling. Now he's pointing fingers.

Praying to Mary was a practice created to convert pagans so they still felt there was a mother goddess. I don't know if the Church has "imposed" celibacy on thousands of priests. The individual seminarian knowingly said yes to this practice before his ordination. There is always free will involved, which is written in a letter by the seminarian stating that he is under no pressure, and he seeks ordination (and what it entails) on his own accord and will.

Of course Jesus could not get married... imagine what would happen if there was the "Grandson of God" and so forth... God knew that could never be allowed to happen, and so never married or had children. As if he would have had the time to be a husband or father with all he was doing.

@redlandz1977 The Catholic Church never doctrinaly defined the obligation of celibacy for its priests. The fact is that in Eastern Catholic rites married men can become priests. Notice that is the case with St Peter, who was a married man when he met the Lord.
In the West, it is a matter of tradition and purity. The Church settled for the "better" way : celibacy, as is expressed by St Paul in 1 Cor 7.7-8 ; 32–35
