  • Mongolia gives off quite an air of mystery. You can tell those people are tough and proud. I would love to go there though I don't think I'd move permanently. I'm just a bit frightened by the gray atmosphere that seems to prevail in Ulaan Baatar.

  • @IAmKrow Mongolia, including Ulaanbaatar, is actually one of the sunniest countries due to high altitude and dry climate. It averages 257 cloudless days per year (in comparison, San Diego, CA averages 146 cloudless days). In the winter though (when normally it would be extremely sunny), Ulaanbaatar gets gray because of extreme pollution from lots of households burning coal for heat.

  • @kennyavir

    Thanks, man, I didn't know that.

  • I like that Mongolia is so different from other countries. It's a unique and interesting country that has kept its traditions through the time and I am happy that they are not brainwashed like other countries are. Ulaan Baatar makes me curious because it is not popular with everyone but that is Ulaan Baatar's charm. The less it is famous all over the world, the more they can keep their uniqueness and special qualities....

  • wuaah! wuuaah! i wanna go to my ub

  • Looks nice, i like the space and openness of the city centre. Makes a change from england were its hard to walk as there are so many people hemmed into small town/city centres.

  • I've been in UB for twice last year. I love this city so much. When it gets warm ,i will come back. This time i will take a jeep to Darkhan again, enjoying the scenery of Mongolian countryside!

  • I wanna go to Mongolia!!!=(Why am I still 17?!? I love Ulaan-Baatar

  • Fine ass girls there, ha ha!!! atleast you have lived in Korea!? then you can complain about the people and the scenery.

  • hey seriously guys be careful a lot of foreigners been beaten up and got their things stolen.

  • Well, that's pretty much almost every place around the world. Its still adventurous...

  • I hope people like you won't come to our beautiful country. You act all "nice" when you are there but the minute you leave, you completely change your tune and start talking trash. I don't understand you guys.

  • I'm not talking trash. Is the grass not black in Ulaanbaatar. As it happens I very much like your country and the people and I will be going back soon for business reasons. But, surely we are entitled to point out the "faults" (if you can call them that) also. Hell, I'm harsh and critical about the faults of my own country; why can I not critique yours also? It's called freedom of speech. You might be sandwiched between the great tyrannies of Russia and China but I thought you had that there?

  • i agreee! mongolia sucks! hoorrah!
