It really depends on the product. I bought about 20 stihl chainsaws @ 50 a pop, I tried the conventional craigslist / local ad methods and they were slow and hard to sell at 150 dollars a piece. When I took them to ebay, they sold faster than I could put the ads up at around 300 a pop.

If you can consistently buy a certain item at certain local auctions, finding your consistent buyers using ebay is awesome. Ebay Sales Generate Leads and can land you long time business relations across world.

10,000 per month? wow,,,,,,,,thats a lot of listing, packing, and headache! I think you can do it if youre selling high end items like diamonds, rare baseball cards, or comic books, or autos or somthing! i sell items on a average of 15 dollars each! I made 550.00 this past month, and it ran me ragid! LOL

@Dreambro1 "thats a lot of listing, packing, and headache!" man you never lied!, believe it or not,it was mostly average stuff but when you sell 2000-3000 items per month x average selling price of 7.50 each it adds up! Understand there were several people involved in the process, there is no way one person could do it!

do you think the feed back works for the a seller(100%)....does a negative kill a sellers sells?

I know that for a fact you do not need a 100% to sell well and to sell high end items. When ebay changed the feedback policy, many sellers who had 100% suddenly started getting negs, and they sales continued on.

I remember having a user ID got this neg from a customer who was a trip, the id had a feedback or 48 and sold 4K worth of stuff a few days later. It depends on what the neg says and your overall setup, if you get four or more in a week, yes you will have a problem.
