My recommendations are Fallout new vegas, Dragon age 1 and 2, both very different in play style...uhhhm, and Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 for future :) My god i cannot wait. :D

I found Two Worlds a very good RPG, on the PC. Loved it.

Reg Mass Effect import etc, it wasn't the first RPG. There were many before, even from the late 80's. Too tired to remember titles.

Actually Golden Sun on the gameboy advance was an rpg that allowed you to import your characters you built up in the first to the second game. Golden Sun is a very good rpg series that i would recommend to anyone.

I did finish up blue dragon though and i didnt think it was that bad either...but yes...the voice acting was BRUTAL.

Hey Jimmy, I got Tales of Vesperia when I got Marvel vs Capcom 3. It was only like 20 bucks! This video gave me the push I need to start playing it. I'm needing a break from fighting games anyways. Also, a lot of reviewers crapped on Magna Carta 2, but I think its definitely a winner! Check it out!

I remember that after Tales of Vesperia dropped in price finding a copy became a freaking pain! Anyways... the worst part about this was how the people responsible for the game wouldn't shut up about how it didn't sell that well..when they were the ones that pulled the plug after the price drop!! I have been waiting for the PS3 version to come out but it looks like they have pulled the plug on it as well.

Great collection! I managed to find a used copy of Tales of Vesperia in the UK, but I am having so much trouble finding Magna Carta 2 (at a reasonable price)!! Both games were, and still are, as far as I know, difficult to find in Europe in general.......

Great, informitive video, a lot of the games you reviewed, i passed up on on playing, but i am defintly going to check out a bunch oe the ones you mentioned. Love the reference to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, it was the 1st RPG i ever palyed, and it had me infatuated with it, one of the best games of all time in my opinion. I've been meaning to check out Lost Odyssey when I get an Xbox360. I enjoyed the Shadow Hearts games for the ps2. I didn't know the same people did that game as well. I have FFXIII for the ps3 as well as Fallout: New Vegas and Enchanted Arms. Resonance of Fate is a great game too. Check it out, but it takes getting used to gameplay-wise. I'm trying to get Star Ocean: International for the ps3. I also want to get to Fable, Gears of War, Ace Combat 6, and Mass Effect. Great vid.

fair words for star ocean 4. one of my favorite 360 rpgs along with eternal sonata and lost odyssey. i really enjoyed the crafting in the game and like you mentioned, the battle system. the bosses were also a great challenge and the music, of course, was great. good video!

@lotsofgames Lost Odyssey could fit on 1 PS3 BluRay disc. =P Also, most (or all) Mist Walker guys are ex-Squaresoft members. The PS3 version of Star Ocean The Last Hope is significantly better. I still wish that the PS3 got Blue Dragon. It seemed interesting to me, but not enough to get an X360. There are a lot of RPGs that have done that where you carry over data to the next game. An example would be the dot Hack games on the PS2 as well as Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2.

Champions of norrath and champions return to arms on the ps2 were probly the most addictive games ive ever played. But you could import your character from that game and youd start out on a harder difficulty with all you stuuf from the previous game
