  • Pembury Tavern, Hackney, around 1990. Rock'n'roll!

  • Back in those days there was no such thing as rockabilly. This was called boogie or country boogie. It only became rockabilly when Elvis and Carl Perkins came along.

  • MrT20, Brian, Derek and Paul (brothers) Mick (died a couple of years ago), Dixie, Hugh, Zing (Simon), Cookie (Terry) plus a few others who used to hang with us.

  • @4538Rick zing and that mad triumph 650,have a great memory of sitting in a cafe with terry cooke and zing around 81 on the holloway road,if i knew then what i know now !

    any where worth going in nth london like the royalty,been out of circulation for a while.

  • thanks for the memory man,for a few minutes there i was back in the royalty in southgate christmas ``80 standing on the balcony watching the talent strolling,the "dixieland rockers" roll on !
